CFO & CCO | Principal

I got an early start in investing with a Roth IRA from money earned as a lifeguard and swim coach during the summers in High School. It was exciting and something that had a hold of me as soon as I invested my first dollar. I knew from that point on that finance and helping other people invest was going to be in my future in some way. I began my career as a mortgage banker with Quicken Loans and ended up in Colorado shortly after as a Credit Manager for Wells Fargo. (My wife grew up in Colorado and I had to follow her back here!) Helping people improve their financial situation and finding ways to help families pay off their debt more efficiently was something I truly enjoyed. In 2010, I joined JPMorgan Chase as a Branch Manager and Vice President managing some of Chase’s largest private client branches in Colorado. Education and helping clients, remained my favorite part of the job and when I was offered the chance to join my long time friends Michael Euston and Mike Miller at Heirloom Wealth Management in 2015, I jumped at the opportunity to have even more of an impact on my client’s lives.

Within Heirloom I serve as the Chief Finance Officer and Chief Compliance Officer and enjoy working with clients on a daily basis. I am incredibly lucky to work with clients whom I consider close friends and am honored to be a part of their lives.

Professionally,  I have Masters Degree in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. Additionally, I am also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional (CFP®).) and serve as a mentor for future CFP® candidates.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife Charlotte and our two daughters Stella and Ava. I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Human Communications where I also played lacrosse for the Sun Devils. I am honored to be on board of the American Lung Association here in Colorado. Lung Health is a cause my family and I care a great deal about and have a personal connection to. When I am not attending what seems like weekly dance events I try and golf, ski, and hike around Colorado with the family.
